They Do Electronic Voting Machines Too

From Rich at the NYT via Digby:
The Qaeda cell that hijacked American Flight 77 and plowed into the Pentagon was based in the same town, Laurel, Md., as the N.S.A., and "for months, the terrorists and the N.S.A. employees exercised in some of the same local health clubs and shopped in the same grocery stores." (emphasis added)
And probably voted, too. The NSA knows. I suspect they've bugged the voting booths. Did you ever wonder why they want electronic voting machines so badly? Pretty hard to bug a paper ballot.

Scenario: The State of Florida
Time: Fall, 2006
Players: Jeb Bush, Katherine Harris, Diebold and the NSA

Jeb: Katherine, it looks like you're losing big time.

Katherine (swooning): Oh, Jeb, you all jus hav to do sumtin!

Jeb: O.K., the die is cast. Diebold, do your thing!

Diebold: Roger, Jebby baby. NSA, do your thing.

NSA (logging onto Microsoft): Let's see, switch a few votes here, switch a few there, after a while, you're talking 51%.

Katherine: Oh, Jeb. You're such a manly man. Please run for Presdint in 2008.

Jeb: Oh, Kitty, dahling, I'd just LOVE to. And, by the way, I don't give a damn.

Diebold, oh Diebold. I'd rather die happy.
