One in 20 adult Americans can't read. That's 5%.
WASHINGTON -- About one in 20 adults in the U.S. is not literate in English, meaning 11 million people lack the skills to handle many everyday tasks, a federal study shows.

The adult literacy rate in Cuba is 96.9%.
