WASHINGTON - White House chief of staff Andy Card has resigned and will be replaced by budget director Joshua Bolten, President Bush announced Tuesday amid growing calls for a White House shakeup and Republican concern about Bush's tumbling poll ratings.

Add to that the turning on Cheney by Rove. Looks like he is helping Fitzgerald by linking erased emails and such concerning Plame to Cheney's office.
Lots of ways to interpret that, one being rats jumping off the sinking ship in order to pilfer another day.
It's all well and good that these guys are going down one way or another. The real question is where do we go from here?
