Mammary Alert!

From here:
Art Teacher Loses Job After Kids See Nude Sculpture
Children Were On School-Approved Field Trip

........
FRISCO, Texas -- An award-winning Texas art teacher who was reprimanded after one of her fifth-grade students saw a nude sculpture during a trip to a museum has lost her job.

The school board in Frisco has voted not to renew Sydney McGee's contract after 28 years. She has been on administrative leave.

The teacher took her students on an approved field trip to a Dallas museum, and now some parents are upset.
First of all, who lives in Frisco! I thought it was a shortening. A friend of mine upbraided me once for being tacky because I told her "I left my heart in Frisco."

Its not like these kids have never seen a breast. For crying out loud, they were looking at them with desire and glee for the first six months of life. Talk about oogling.

You would think they would have asked about the arms, not the mammaries.

Janet Jackson would be proud. So would Miss October.

Do these people even care that this makes them look like morons out of a bad episode of The Simpsons? What do they think, view of marble breasts is going to raise an unholy lust for sex with marble statues amongst the impressionable youngsters? Feh...

One thing to think about: This teacher had 28 years of experience. This meant she was 2 years from retirement, and was at the top of the salary scale. Now she's gone, and they can hire some fresh-out-of-school newbie at the bottom of the salary scale who'll be around for a while. Was somebody really offended? Or did the school district merely leap upon a chance to reduce their salary expense, which otherwise (due to tenure) was going to keep going up?

Yo Badtux. Prescient comment. Can these people really take over the world? Somehow I doubt it.
(I just bought a new tux after uncountable years of renting; I hope its not "bad")
