"Say what you will about the ten commandments, you must always come back to the pleasant fact that there are only ten of them." -- H.L. Mencken
"All men are frauds. The only difference between them is that some admit it. I myself deny it." -- also H.L.
"Have you ever watched a crab on the shore crawling backward in search of the Atlantic Ocean, and missing? That's the way the mind of man operates" -- .... okay, I'll stop now. Yes, I know satire isn't quite sarcasm, but I like satire (in small doses).
Ah. Saint Mencken. When I lived in Baltimore I would routinely make a pilgrimage to "The Cultured Pearl" and drink a dose of Satire laced with Sarcasm. Unfortunately, this libation, the SS, is now confused with Social Security.
